US CEO backs H-1B, says $100,000 fee will hurt economy: 'Immigrant workers have different skill sets'

International Bank of Commerce CEO Dennis Nixon championed for the H-1B visa, calling the proposed $100,000 fee 'prohibitive' for entrepreneurs. He argued that while large corporations can absorb the cost, it will stifle innovation by limiting foreign talent access for smaller ventures. The CEO said America's ageing population can't fill the skill gap.
