North Macedonia's first female president was inaugurated on Sunday, with the new nationalist leader promptly setting the tone in a speech that did not acknowledge the country's new name. But Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova's party, the nationalist VMRO-DPMNE, opposed the accord and have refused to acknowledge the country's new name.
