Ukraine celebrates Christmas on December 25 for the first time, distancing itself from Russia

Christmas in Ukraine carries more weight this year as the country observes it as a public holiday on Dec. 25, reflecting their national identity and opposition to the Russian invasion. Celebrations took place in various locations, including an open-air museum in Kyiv and the village of Kryvorivnia.
